We at Holtmann+ were delighted to be part of this important event and to help shape the future of the trade fair and event industry.

From 20 to 22 June 2024, the international exhibition and event community will gather in sunny Málaga to gain deeper insights into the exhibition and event industry and hold valuable discussions with industry peers.

The IFES World Summit offers a unique platform for exchanging ideas and experiences, making valuable contacts and discovering new business opportunities.

Highlights of the summit include inspiring keynotes from renowned experts from the industry, such as our colleague Jan Götze, who gave us exciting insights into the world of AI, and Michael Blackmann, who impressed us with his topic "Future of Expos: Community Building at Integrated Systems Europe".

The workshops and panels offered interactive sessions in which participants could immerse themselves in specific topics and acquire practical knowledge. In the IFES Talent Team (ITT) panel, the future leaders of the industry reported on the upcoming opportunities and challenges of working in the trade fair and event industry. The workshop: "Getting your hands dirty" offered participants a crash course on navigating special challenges and new opportunities in the industry, which were developed together.

Not forgetting the numerous networking opportunities, where fun was the main focus. Joint volleyball sessions on the beach, as well as various dinners in breathtaking locations offered an opportunity to exchange ideas and network within the industry with members from all over the world.

Events such as the IFES World Summit ensure that valuable contacts are made and partnerships forged that last beyond the summit.
